Responsibilities:
The
Brand team is responsible for defining brand strategy for PropertyGuru Group and
enabling its execution, operationalisation and governance across Southeast
Asia. We develop, brief, and manage all brand-oriented projects and align
brand-level messaging across functions, business units, and markets. As part of
the Brand team for the Group, you will collaborate often with regional
functional teams and work closely with local Marketing teams to bring the brand
strategy to life in the hearts and minds of consumers and customers, shaping
their experience and cultivating awareness and preference for PropertyGuru and
our products and services.
About the role
As Brand Manager, you will support the creation and
execution of brand strategies ensuring brand consistency and enhancing brand preference.
Ideally, you have the ability to tell engaging brand stories and execute
them flawlessly in a complex situation involving many stakeholders. You should
have necessary marketing, brand-building and project management experience and
should be comfortable in a fast-paced and quickly evolving environment.
Specifically, you will
Brand Strategy
Support the Brand Team in developing and adapting the Group’s brand and sub-brand strategy for our target markets, including the setting and managing of brand positioning, brand guidelines, and value propositions for short as well as long term.
Support brand architecture and naming & nomenclature projects.
Brand Guardianship
Collaborate with internal and external teams on regional brand campaign conceptualisation and roll-out including liaising with markets on localisation, managing agency feedback and relationship, and general project management.
Support internal ‘campaigning’ of external brand-driven initiatives, in partnership with the Internal Communications team.
Support management of our Brand Portal ensuring its proper activation and use across the region and across functions.
Ensure market-led brand-building campaigns, activations, and/or content concepts from marketing teams adhere to brand guidelines.
Partner with Brand Design team to manage creative artwork review requests, ensuring all functions’ creative assets adhere to brand guidelines.
Brand Experience
Support and in some cases drive cross-functional projects and initiatives that will bring our brand strategy to life through experience and touchpoints.
Brand Performance
Work alongside internal and external research teams to
do competitor and customer insight analysis.
Support execution of annual Brand Performance studies.
Operations
Manage the budget for brand, advertising and promotional items.
Manage department administrative duties including finance tracking, CE approvals, PO raising, invoice submissions, monthly accruals submission, monthly marketing spend explanation and legal.
Requirements:
You will have a bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Marketing, Mass Communications, or related field or equivalent education and experience.
At least 4-6 years of relevant work experience – with 1-2 years in previous in-house branding or marketing role.
Strong understanding of platforms, channels, dynamics, media strategies and overall marketing mix for brand and marketing campaigns.
Proven track record of successfully
building and executing major marketing campaigns from conception to
execution to optimisation alongside
various functions (i.e., product, technology, marketing)
Exemplary project management
experience, especially for complex brand implementation projects.
Experience handling marketing operations independently.
Experience working across functions and managing multiple stakeholders’ interests.
