Responsibilities: As Head of Social, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive social media strategy that drives engagement, growth, and revenue for the business. You will lead through influence and work cross-functionally with other departments to ensure that social media initiatives are aligned with business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of social media platforms and a proven track record of driving business results through social media. You will: Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with the company's overall marketing and business objectives Collaborate with other departments, such as marketin g, content, comms, HR and product teams, to ensure that social media campaigns are aligned with overall business objectives Monitor and analyse social media metrics to identify opportunities for growth and improvement Actively engage with our audience on social media platforms, responding to comments and messages and fostering positive relationships with our customers Develop and manage a social media content calendar, ensuring that all content is on-brand, relevant, and timely Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices, and make recommendations for improvements and innovations in social media strategy Provide regular updates and reports on social media performance to senior management Requirements: Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field; MBA preferred At least 10 years of experience in social media marketing, with a proven track record of driving business results through social media Strong leadership skills, with experience in leading with influence. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling social media content that resonates with our target audience In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, tools, and best practices Ability to analyze social media metrics and use data to drive decisions and strategy Strong project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment Creative and strategic thinker, with a passion for social media and a deep understanding of its role in the broader marketing landscape Ability to build relationships with key stakeholders Strong business acumen, with a focus on driving revenue and business growth through social media.
