Responsibilities: Compliance
Strong
knowledge on IFRS, with focus on providing advice and guidance on all
technical accounting matters and preparation of documentation and
accounting assessment. To
develop, enhance and implement accounting and transfer pricing policies
and procedures including automation of processes to maintain and
strengthen internal controls, in order to improve the overall finance
operations and effectiveness of the Group. Ensuring
effective internal control procedures and compliance of accounting
standards, company policies and statutory requirements. Strong engagement
with departments and subsidiaries within the group and provide guidance
on finance and accounting matters. Strong in consolidation
of accounts, review of Group financial statements, quarterly
announcements, Annual Report and etc. Assist in
the preparation of management reports and Board papers. Coordinate
and liaise with internal and external auditors, company secretary,
bankers, lawyers and other governing authorities pertaining to statutory
requirements. Experience in SEC reporting and Sarbanes-Oxley
Act will be an added advantage. To lead or
participate in ad-hoc tasks and projects assigned by Management from
time to time. Treasury
Responsible of the Group’s cash flow management, cash management, banking management and all treasury matters, including relevant reporting requirements. Strong governance,
internal controls and structured segregation of duties (SOD) of cash
management teams including bank authorization. Design and maintain Treasury policies and procedures to ensure adequate control on all treasury, bank, monetary and cash related activities. Ensure compliance with internal policies, relevant laws and regulatory requirements including US listing requirements. Review and
recommend external bank facilities and cash management. Regular reviews of
treasury/bank systems and procedures to ensure efficiency of bank
accounts management; initiate proposal for improvements and implement
corrective procedures for non-conformance. Escalation point for
operation issues with the banks. Monitors investments of the Group, performs return analysis and assist in financial resource allocation. To lead or participate in cash management solutions and new digital enhancements to improve the payment and collection channels for the Group of companies. Requirements:
Professionally
Qualified with accounting qualification(s) such as ACCA, CPA Australia or
equivalent. With
over 10 years of working experiences with minimum 6 years in external
audit and with existing commercial experience in multinational company. Strong
technical knowledge and experience in accounting, governance, controls,
and compliance. Strong
experience in the drafting of accounting, treasury and transfer pricing
policies and procedures and implementing it. Good
experience in preparation of consolidated financial statement. Passionate,
positive, and energetic individual with the ability to drive initiatives
independently and yet be a team-player. Self-motivated,
strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to research
and propose solutions on complex accounting issues. Ability
to effectively manage multiple priorities. Proficient
in MS Office especially Words, ppt, Excel and etc. Good
command of English. Confident communicator with ability to lead discussions/meetings
and present.
