Role & responsibilities:

• Be able to work closely with the development team, participating in their Agile ceremony and pairing with developers to reduce their friction related to infrastructure.
• Ability to design, implement and support CI/CD requirements from the development team leveraging company-wide tooling.
• Ability to provide solution advice, troubleshooting, and technical support for common resources on AWS-related issues.
• Ability to program and write infrastructure as code.
• Be able to coach, influence and provide training, and obsess with developer experience.
• Be able to train and coach other DevOps engineers on DevOps practices.
• Be able to manage project, handling the project and intiatives from start to end, driving the outcome of the project.
• Be able to be on-call and respond to support and incidents 24x7. Support will be on a rotation basis.

Experience, Skills & Attributes:

• Knowledgeable in Github, Jenkins, AWS ECS and EKS.
  
• Knowledgeable in Buildkite and GitHub Actions is a big plus.
• Knowledgeable in Amazon Web Services.
• Knowledgeable in Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Ideally, you have 5-10 years of working experience in DevOps environment, providing help and support for developers.
• Has demonstrated experience in curating CI/CD pipelines for software development team.
• Has demonstrated experience with programming and scripting language - for e.g. Python, Shell.
• Good communicator, ability to provide consistent updates and follow up for development team.
