Manav has more than two decades of experience in technology strategy and creating innovative products for start-ups, scale-ups and large enterprises in the consumer internet and banking industries. With the dual mandate of Chief Technology Officer and Managing Director of FinTech for PropertyGuru Group, Manav is responsible for driving the group's technology strategy and scaling the fintech business to remove friction from home finance while helping people maximise the value of the asset that they call home. Along with his passionate team of technology, product, design and commercial gurus, Manav is building products and solutions to #CreateWhatsNext in how people Find.Finance.Own their homes.
Manav joined PropertyGuru in 2017 as the CTO and has been responsible for building and scaling the talent, tech platforms and engineering capabilities for the group through an exciting phase of organic and inorganic hypergrowth.
Driving impact through technology and solving hard problems of scale and complexity inspires Manav. Before joining PropertyGuru, Manav spent nearly a decade in mobile technology and eCommerce domains, helping online businesses adapt to the changing customer expectations driven by smartphone adoption. As an entrepreneur at his mobile app start-up LetsGoMo and later VP of Engineering at Snapdeal, Manav has built and led technology, product and design teams to create best-in-class mobile and web products for consumer internet businesses in India and internationally. On top of his extensive experience in technology, Manav spent more than seven years in retail banking across diverse roles in P&L management, product management and customer acquisition strategy.
Manav holds an MBA from IIM, Lucknow, India, and a bachelor's in engineering from the University of Roorkee (now IIT, Roorkee, India).
