SHORTLISTED NOMINEES WILL BE CELEBRATED AT THE GEM CENTRE IN HCMC

PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards announced today the final list of nominees that will be moving on to receive honours at the programme’s eighth edition in Vietnam.
Thirty-five development companies across the nation will be accoladed at the 8th Annual PropertyGuru Vietnam Property Awards, presented by global brand Kohler, and supported by Häfele, Saint-Gobain Vietnam, and Dulux Professional. The highly anticipated awards presentation and gala dinner will take place 21 October 2022 at the Gem Centre in Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC).
With 11 nominations, Viva Land emerged as one of the year’s frontrunners, buoyed by nods for its projects such as Viva One, Vivian Le Jardin, and Viva Harbour Place. Phat Dat Real Estate Development Corporation follows with 10 nominations, six of which are for its condominium project Cadia Quy Nhon.
Keppel Land also gained 10 nominations, including those for Celesta Avenue and Celesta Heights, two of its joint ventures with Phu Long Real Estate Corporation. The company is also nominated for The Infiniti.
Joseph Low, president of Keppel Land (Vietnam), is expected to accept the golden statuette for the 2022 Vietnam Real Estate Personality of the Year award, just one of 71 categories to be presented at the gala celebration. The title, decided by the editorial team of PropertyGuru Property Report Magazine, honours Low for decades of leadership at Keppel Land, which has transformed Vietnam’s cities with pioneering grade-A offices and other outstanding developments.
Other top nominees include BIM Land (a member of BIM Group); CapitaLand Development (Vietnam); Hung Thinh Land; Khang Dien House Trading and Investment JSC; Phu My Hung Development Corporation; SonKim Land Corporation; and VSIP.
Nominated projects hail from a wide array of locations that include HCMC, Hanoi, Binh
Duong, Danang, Khanh Hoa, Phu Quoc, and Quy Nhon. Early favourites to win multiple awards include Artisan Park by Gamuda Land; Meyhomes Capital Phu Quoc by Tan A Dai Thanh – Meyland; The 9 Stellars by SonKim Land Corporation; and Urban Green by Kusto Home Vietnam.
The shortlist of nominees was determined by the independent panel of judges comprising Thien Duong, chairperson of the Awards in Vietnam and managing director, Transform Architecture; Alex Crane, managing director, Vietnam, Knight Frank; Andras Germ, general manager, Astra; Chau Ta, executive director – legal transactions, SC Capital Partners Pte Ltd.; Dang Van Quang, director of strategy consulting services, Navigat; David McDonald, general director, WT Partnership (Vietnam) LLC; Edward Haysom, general director, Haysom Architects Vietnam; Hang Dang, managing director, CBRE (Vietnam) Co, Ltd.; Jack Nguyen, advisor, Vinacrowd; Jean-Francois Chevance, group director of hospitality and design, Archetype Group; Mauro Gasparotti, director, Savills Hotels APAC; Paul D. Volodarsky, senior associate, deputy head of regional real estate, DFDL Legal and Tax; and Tran Quynh Trang, owner of property management firm Sapphire Indochina.
The fairness, transparency, and credibility of the selection process was made possible by AASC – HLB Vietnam, the official supervisor of the Awards, led by partner and deputy general director Do Manh Cuong and business development manager Lan Ng Hoang.
The Awards in Vietnam mark the continuation of the 2022 PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards series of celebrations, set to culminate with the 17th PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards Grand Final on 9 December. Main winners of the Awards in Vietnam are eligible to compete for the ‘Best in Asia’ titles at the grand finale in Bangkok, Thailand.
