Kuala Lumpur, 20 November 2025 – PropertyGuru Group (“The Group” or “PropertyGuru”), Southeast Asia’s leading1 property technology (“PropTech”) company today announced the appointment of Vic Sithasanan as Managing Director for Malaysia, effective immediately.
In his new role, Vic will lead the growth of the Group’s Malaysia marketplace business, encompassing PropertyGuru and iProperty, and drive strategies that strengthen customer and consumer value and market leadership. Vic will be part of the Group’s Executive Leadership Team and will report to the Chief Executive Officer, Lewis Ng.
Vic’s appointment marks a key milestone in PropertyGuru’s leadership transformation to strengthen country-level ownership and agility. This evolved role reflects the company’s shift from Country Managers to Managing Directors across key markets to drive greater impact at the country level.
With over two decades of leadership experience, Vic brings a proven track record in marketplace growth, digital innovation, and customer experience. He joins PropertyGuru from SEEK, where he most recently served as Managing Director for Singapore and previously as Managing Director for Malaysia. During his tenure, Vic oversaw strong business growth and led major digital and commercial transformations across both markets.
Prior to SEEK, Vic co-founded Hyperlab, an AI company that automated customer conversations for major brands. Following its acquisition in 2018, he served as Chief Growth Officer, leading its international expansion into the United States, Japan, and other key markets.
PropertyGuru also announces that Kenneth Soh, who serves as Country Manager for Malaysia, will be departing the Group at the end of December 2025. Under Kenneth’s leadership, PropertyGuru Malaysia achieved several major milestones, including the launch of the Verified Badge, a public-facing trust initiative to curb property scams, and the continued integration of PropertyGuru and iProperty Malaysia.
