Yi-Wei is a technology and product leader with extensive experience building platforms that serve millions of users at scale. Prior to joining PropertyGuru, he was Chief Product Officer at talabat, leading Product, Technology, Design, and Data teams across Dubai and Egypt.

Before joining talabat, he was the VP Product at Property Finder, the leading real estate portal in the Middle East and North Africa.

As Chief Product & Technology Officer at PropertyGuru, Yi-Wei will drive the digital transformation and scaling of PropertyGuru’s platform, elevating our existing products, and introducing innovative solutions to deliver the best value to every property seeker and agent across Southeast Asia.

In his previous role at talabat, Yi-Wei was part of the core management team that expanded the company beyond food into groceries, subscriptions, and fintech. During his time there, Yi-Wei played a role in bringing the company to Initial Public Offering (IPO) at a $10B valuation in December 2024.

Yi-Wei holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Industrial Engineering from the University of Toronto.
