BANGKOK, Thailand — The 2025 PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards (Japan) unveiled its winners today, celebrating outstanding achievements in the country’s real estate sector. Honouring excellence across residential, commercial, educational, and hospitality projects, the awardees were announced during the International Luncheon at The Athenee Hotel, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Bangkok.

Jean Yip Developments garnered the prestigious titles of Best Developer and Best Lifestyle Developer, in addition to winning the Best Affordable Condo Development (Kansai) award for JY Suites Tsutenkaku.

With four golden statuettes, K2-Design Architect & Associates Co., Ltd. dominated the awards tally, buoyed by its winning designs for the projects 8 Syuujikan, ILUVIO Resort Motobu, and Lake Yamanakako Villa.

Obayashi Corporation, one of the country’s leading construction and engineering companies, took home the Best Office Development award for Yokohama Symphostage. Another top company, Sango Construction Co., Ltd., was awarded Best Luxury Villa Development (Hokkaido) for the Sango Project.

The 2025 PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards (Japan) covers a broader geographic scope, distinguishing high-calibre real estate across the archipelago. ALT Design & Construction gained a double victory in Hokkaido, winning architectural and interior design honours for Jozankei House. In the Chubu region, BAUM Ltd. also earned dual accolades for its Kato Knife Gallery and Workshop.

Curiosity was recognised for the sophisticated interiors of the Four Seasons Hotel Osaka in Kansai while Infinity Co., Ltd. won for the exquisitely designed Louca – Model Room.

The winners were chosen by an independent panel of judges composed of Eddie Guillemette; Anton Wormann, founder and CEO, Anton in Japan Media and Japandi Houses; Bill Barnett, founder and managing director, C9 Hotelworks; Greg Hough, managing director, Niseko Portfolio and Explore Travel Group; Koji Tsutsui, principal, Koji Tsutsui Architect & Associates; and Minoru Okubo, representative director, ResortPropertyJapan Co., Ltd.

Official supervisor HLB International Real Estate Group, led by Paul Ashburn, upheld the fairness, credibility, and transparency of the selection process.

Winners of the PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards (Japan) advanced to compete for the Best in Asia titles at the PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards Grand Final, also held on 12 December 2025 in Bangkok, Thailand.
