Responsibilities:
As a Corporate Development Analyst, you will primarily work and support
on inorganic initiatives of the company. To that end the day-to-day tasks will
include market and industry research, company analysis, review of target’s
financial information and business plan, preparing financial models, valuation,
and M&A transaction process management etc. You will bring an ability to
listen well and learn fast, as well as be highly organised around your work and
schedule with an ability to meet tight deadlines.
As a core member of a small team you will have the opportunity to partner with
middle and senior management directly to ask the right questions and shape
outcomes.
Prior experience in an investment bank or in a
buy side role (private equity/ venture capital/ corporate) will be necessary.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders and external
experts on various inorganic initiatives of the company
- Support on M&A transaction execution and project
management
- Support on maintaining a market-map of businesses of
interest in our geographies and ecosystem
- Build financial models for potential acquisition targets
with our synergies overlay
- Create well-structured and high-quality presentation
materials
- Manage the operational rhythm of assigned projects and
programs
Requirements:
- Finance professional from corporate finance, investment
banking or transaction services community.
- Degree qualified, with professional qualifications (e.g.
Accounting)
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced
environment
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail and commercial
awareness
- Highly driven, curious and with a growth mindset
- Mature communication style and ability to build trust with senior
stakeholders
