We at PropertyGuru Data and Software Solutions (DSS) are looking for a Business Development Executive / Manager to join our growing team of passionate Gurus who are determined to drive digital transformation for our enterprise partners across the property ecosystem in the region. We are committed to empower our partners in the property industry to make smarter, quicker, and more informed decisions, and to turn homeownership dreams into a reality for everyone.
About the Job:
This role is responsible for acquiring new merchants, service providers, vendors to partner with us, offering services that complement the needs of the property eco system.
•Arrange / manage business meetings with prospective service providers / vendors / merchants
•Good mix of a hunter and farmer approach to business development / sales
•Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines
•Provide trustworthy feedback and after-acquisition support
•Build long-term relationships with new and existing service providers
•Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities.
•Increasing the value of current service providers while attracting new ones
•Finding and developing new markets and improving acquisition
•Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events
•Developing quotes and proposals for service providers
•Training service providers and helping them integrate and adjust them to the company standards
- 3 - 5 years’ experience in a merchant acquisition role preferably from the internet / e-commerce industry
- Bachelor’s degree (in any field)
- Bilingual in Mandarin and English
- Comfortable with both inbound and outbound sales approach
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to liaise with clients
- Result-oriented with the drive to exceed sales target
- Strong relationship and rapport building skills
- Proactive, team player and able to work with minimal supervision
