We at PropertyGuru Data and Software Solutions (DSS) are looking for a Data Analyst - DSS to join our growing team of passionate Gurus who are determined to drive digital transformation for our enterprise partners across the property ecosystem in the region. Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively as part of a product squad to support externally facing data-drive products, or use data to positively inform and influence the business decisions at PropertyGuru 
  •  Collaborate with product owners and engineers to conceptualise and develop new data products features. 
  • Understand the customer “why”, to help guide the “what” and “how” for potential solutions, distilling data requirements from client-driven use cases and translating those complex data requirements into simple solutions 
  • Support execution of Product-driven or custom data challenges, from requirement gathering, to ideation to solution implementation 
  • Extract key insights and “So-whats” from complex datasets  
  • Communicate analyses and recommendations to business stakeholders for their decision making.  
  • Build clear and simple dashboards and presentations using BI tools.  


Requirements:

  •  Minimum 2+ years of experience in working with terabyte scale datasets. 
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, Statistics, Business or Data Analysis, or other relevant fields. 
  • Strong analytical and strategic problem-solver, with project management experience 
  • Have a good business mindset, love to solve business questions and eager to make impact  
  • Result-oriented and get things done mindset. “We push beyond good” and “we own it and deliver it” are our working culture 
  • Working knowledge of relational databases (BigQuery, Redshift, MySQL) and query authoring (SQL) 
  • Driven, positive can-do attitude  
  • Ability to recognize and understand customer needs across a spectrum of B2B customers 
  • Comfortable communicating complex ideas simply and effectively – verbally, in writing and through slides - to cross functional business partners of varying technical levels and seniority (junior to C-level) 
  • Ability to work well in highly complex/ matrixed organisations and effectively manage stakeholders through constant change 
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing contexts and ambiguity 
  • Experience in working with BI tools such as DataStudio or Looker 
  • Experience working with Google Analytics is a plus 
  • Experience in Python, R, C++, Java, Go, Scala is a plus
